Bookmark pictures
Fund raising for the Guild.
David Jenkins is in need of more digital images to be made into bookmarks which will be sold at Kabaam and the Powerhouse. Proceeds go to the Guild.The final picture for the bookmark will be about 1 3/4" X 5", so remember that when you select an image. Get your art work to David as soon as possible. If you need photos of your work contact Ray Short.
Mothers Day Fair
Volunteers needed.
As a public service we volunteered to help with whatever needs doing. In the past, we have baby-sat a booth so the participants can go eat or whatever. Help with the set up and take down is also requested for the new set up at the College. Wear your badge and show up whenever you can. If you have any questions, call David Jenkins or Dan Messersmith at 787-9397.

If anyone is interested in taking the tour of the bronze casting studio in Prescott Valley you need to call ahead to reserve a space for the tour.Please be advised that they can only accommodate groups of 8 – 10. If anyone is interested in a gallery and museum tour to Las Vegas there are several free galleries that might be of interest. The Marjorie Barrick Museum and the Donna Beam Gallery on the campus of the University of Nevada at Las Vegas might be a nice day trip. They are easy to get to and within walking distance of each other. Also, the Clark County Library system has galleries in some of their libraries. There is a gallery in the Laughlin library.
Sad to say the Guggenheim at the Venetian is closed. They turned it into a Madame Tussaud’s.
If we can arrange a van and car pool the guild will pay for the gas. Since this event will be a fund raiser we will be asking for a small donation from attendees.

MACG members art show at museum during April, 2010.
The MACG is officially scheduled for a show at the Museum for the month of April, 2010. Doris Lightwine will have forms and more information at the next Guild meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 9. Get out your latest creative endeavors and be ready to show your creations. Our reception will be from 1-3 pm on Saturday, April 3rd, 2010 in the museum.
